- 1 1/4 cups Reese’s Pieces, plus extra for topping

- In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.

- Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle any reserved Reese’s Pieces over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve
