Description

Ranch pinwheels are savory, bite-sized appetizers made with puff pastry rolled around a creamy ranch-seasoned filling. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with ranch seasoning until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese and green onions.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly into a log from the long side.
  6. Slice the log into 1/2-inch pinwheels and place cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with extra ranch dip or hot sauce for dipping.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
  • Customize with bacon bits, chopped herbs, or different cheeses.
