- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni or other toppings (optional)
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and lightly score a 1/2-inch border around the edges with a knife (do not cut all the way through).
- Brush the pastry lightly with olive oil, avoiding the edges.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly within the scored area.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add pepperoni or desired toppings.
- Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the top.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Slice and serve warm.
