Description

Puff Pastry Pizza is a quick and delicious twist on traditional pizza, using flaky puff pastry as the base. It’s perfect for a light meal, appetizer, or party snack and can be customized with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni or other toppings (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and lightly score a 1/2-inch border around the edges with a knife (do not cut all the way through).
  3. Brush the pastry lightly with olive oil, avoiding the edges.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly within the scored area.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add pepperoni or desired toppings.
  6. Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the top.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Slice and serve warm.
