Description

Puff pastry cinnamon rolls are a quick and easy twist on the classic treat, featuring flaky layers filled with a sweet cinnamon-sugar mixture and topped with a simple glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Brush the entire surface with melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over buttered pastry.
  5. Roll the pastry up tightly from the shorter side to form a log.
  6. Cut into 8 even slices and place cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  8. While rolls bake, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • Best served warm but still tasty at room temperature.
  • Add chopped nuts or raisins for extra texture and flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
