- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.
- Brush the surface of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and paprika evenly over half of the sheet.
- Fold the pastry in half over the cheese layer and gently press together.
- Roll the folded pastry slightly to seal and flatten it.
- Cut into 1/2-inch wide strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Twist each strip gently and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with remaining egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving.
