Instructions
Sauté Aromatics:
Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Make the Broth:
Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili garlic sauce (if using). Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
Cook the Potstickers:
Carefully add the frozen potstickers to the simmering broth. Let them cook for 5-7 minutes, or according to the package instructions, until they are tender and cooked through.
Add the Vegetables:
Stir in the shredded cabbage, carrots, mushrooms (if using), and green onions. Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant.
Season and Serve:
