Description

Pizza Wonton Cups are bite-sized appetizers made with crispy wonton wrappers filled with classic pizza toppings. They’re perfect for parties, game day snacks, or fun family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a mini muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Press one wonton wrapper into each cup of the muffin tin to form a small cup shape.
  3. Bake for 5 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven.
  4. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce into each cup.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella, a few mini pepperoni slices, diced bell peppers if using, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and oregano.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Try different toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or olives for variety.
  • Use marinara sauce if you don’t have pizza sauce.
  • To make ahead, assemble and refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
