Description

These Pizza Sliders are packed with gooey mozzarella, savory pepperoni, and zesty marinara sauce, all tucked inside soft, buttery rolls. Baked to golden perfection, they’re an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or quick meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2024 slices pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Assemble the Sliders:

    • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls.
    • Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
    • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the buns.
    • Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
    • Add a layer of pepperoni slices (or other toppings).
    • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the pepperoni.
    • Place the top halves of the buns back on.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Topping:

    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
    • Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  4. Bake:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

  5. Serve:
Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Swap pepperoni for cooked sausage, mushrooms, or veggies for different flavors.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
