- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. -
Assemble the Sliders:
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls.
- Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the buns.
- Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add a layer of pepperoni slices (or other toppings).
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the pepperoni.
- Place the top halves of the buns back on.
-
Make the Garlic Butter Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
- Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
-
Bake:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown. -
Serve:
Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
- Swap pepperoni for cooked sausage, mushrooms, or veggies for different flavors.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
