Scale
Serves 8-10:
- For the bread:
- 2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) sliced pepperoni (cut into quarters if large)
- 1/4 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- For the coating:
- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, basil, and thyme)
- For dipping:
- 1 cup (240 ml) marinara or pizza sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the oven and bundt pan:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan generously with butter or non-stick spray.
- Prepare the dough pieces:
- Cut the biscuit or pizza dough into 1-inch pieces.
- Mix the coating:
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss the dough pieces in the butter mixture to coat evenly.
- Assemble the bread:
- Layer the coated dough pieces in the bundt pan, sprinkling mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and Parmesan cheese between layers. Repeat until all the ingredients are used. Press down gently to compact the layers.
- Bake:
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through. If the top starts browning too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Cool and serve:
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before carefully inverting it onto a serving plate.
- Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Add extra toppings like cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, or olives for more variety.
- To ensure the bread bakes evenly, don’t overfill the bundt pan—leave about an inch of space at the top.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
