Description

These crispy, cheesy pizza chips are the perfect low-carb snack or appetizer. Packed with pepperoni, mozzarella, and classic pizza seasonings, they deliver all the flavor of pizza in a bite-sized, guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

2. Prepare the cheese mixture:

  • In a bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).

3. Assemble the chips:

  • Scoop heaping tablespoons of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each scoop slightly into a small circle.
  • Top each cheese circle with 2–3 mini pepperoni slices or a small amount of chopped pepperoni.

4. Bake the chips:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

5. Cool the chips:

  • Remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. They will crisp up further as they cool.

6. Serve:

  • Serve warm with pizza sauce or marinara on the side for dipping, if desired.

Notes

  • For variety, add toppings like diced bell peppers, black olives, or mushrooms.
  • Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
  • Use pre-shredded cheese for convenience, but make sure it doesn’t contain too much anti-caking agent, which can affect melting.
