Instructions
- Prepare the caramel base:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar and heavy cream.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to bubble gently. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Add flavorings:
- Stir in the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon (if using). Mix well to combine.
- Add the pecans:
- Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed. Allow the mixture to cool slightly to thicken.
- Transfer to a serving bowl:
- Pour the dip into a serving bowl. Garnish with extra chopped pecans and a drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.

- Serve warm or at room temperature with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.
