- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together melted butter and peanut butter until smooth.
- Stir in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
