- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional Garnish:

- Lemon wedges
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet or in the dish. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then rub it in to coat evenly.
3. Season the Chicken:
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts, rubbing it in gently.
4. Bake:
- Place the chicken in the preheated oven and bake for 18-22 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
- Chicken is cooked when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For a golden crust, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
5. Rest and Serve:
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes to retain its juices.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for added brightness.
