- 2 large oranges, peeled and segmented
- 1 cup mandarin orange segments (canned, drained)
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 2 tbsp orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
- Zest of 1 orange (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together vanilla Greek yogurt, whipped topping, orange juice, vanilla extract, and honey (if using) until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the fresh orange segments and mandarin oranges until evenly coated.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to let flavors meld and it firm up slightly.
- Before serving, taste and adjust sweetness or add a splash of orange juice if needed.
- Spoon into a serving bowl or individual cups, and garnish with fresh orange zest.
- Serve chilled and enjoy immediately, or keep refrigerated (covered) until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use full‑fat Greek yogurt for richer texture, or low‑fat for a lighter version.
- Swap whipped topping with homemade whipped cream for fewer additives.
- For extra tang, stir in 1 tbsp sour cream.
