Description

These No-Bake Caramel Pretzel Crack Bars are the perfect sweet-and-salty treat! With layers of crunchy pretzels, rich caramel, and chocolate, these bars are easy to make and incredibly addictive. Perfect for parties, holidays, or whenever you need a quick and satisfying snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups mini pretzels, crushed slightly
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: Sea salt flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

  2. Layer the Pretzels: Spread the crushed pretzels evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a base layer.

  3. Add the Caramel: Pour the caramel sauce over the pretzel layer, spreading it evenly to cover all of the pretzels.

  4. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.

  5. Top with Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the caramel layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

  6. Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or until the bars are firm and set.

  7. Serve: Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
