Makes about 8 cups:
- 6 cups (180 g) Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup (180 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (120 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups (180 g) powdered sugar

Prepare the cereal:
- Place the Rice Krispies cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Melt the chocolate mixture:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.

Coat the cereal:
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Krispies. Gently fold the cereal with a spatula until all the pieces are evenly coated.

Add the powdered sugar:
- Transfer the chocolate-coated cereal into a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl with a lid. Add the powdered sugar. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and shake well until the cereal is evenly coated.

Cool and serve:
- Spread the coated Rice Krispies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and set. Once set, transfer to an airtight container for storage.
Notes
- For a festive twist, add sprinkles, M&M’s, or mini marshmallows after coating with powdered sugar.
