For the Crust:
- 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade crust if preferred)
For the Filling:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, crimping the edges as desired. Prick the bottom with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, sour cream, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in the diced ham, shredded cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the Quiche:
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake the Quiche:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the quiche cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick or substitute ham with cooked bacon or sausage.
- For a crustless version, skip the pie crust and bake the filling in a greased pie dish.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
