Description

Mint Magic Bars are a fun and festive twist on the classic 7-layer bar. With a buttery cookie crust, layers of chocolate chips, mint candies, coconut, and sweetened condensed milk, these bars are rich, chewy, and full of cool minty flavor. Perfect for holidays, bake sales, or whenever you’re craving a sweet treat!

Ingredients

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.

  2. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.

  3. Evenly layer chocolate chips, mint chips, coconut, and nuts (if using) over the crust.

  4. In a small bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk with peppermint extract and a drop or two of green food coloring if using.

  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the layered ingredients in the pan.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden and the top is set.

  7. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.

  • Want it extra minty? Use mint Oreos for the crust.

  • These bars hold up well in the fridge and can also be frozen for later.

  • For a nut-free version, just leave out the nuts—still delicious!
