Description
These Mini Tiramisu Desserts are creamy, coffee-infused treats served in small cups or jars. They’re made with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and a smooth mascarpone filling, making them the perfect make-ahead dessert for parties or special occasions!

For the Coffee Mixture:
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional, e.g., Kahlúa)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
For the Mascarpone Filling:
- 8 oz (226g) mascarpone cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Layers:
- 10–12 ladyfingers (Savoiardi biscuits), broken in half
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
- Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Coffee Mixture
- In a small bowl, mix coffee, sugar, and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Let cool completely before using.
Step 2: Make the Mascarpone Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone until smooth and fluffy.
Step 3: Assemble the Mini Tiramisu
- Lightly dip ladyfingers into the coffee mixture (don’t soak too long, or they’ll get soggy).
- Place a piece of soaked ladyfinger at the bottom of each mini cup or jar.
- Pipe or spoon a layer of mascarpone filling on top.
- Repeat layers until the jar is full, finishing with mascarpone on top.
Step 4: Chill & Serve
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for the best flavor).
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- Make-Ahead: Best made a day ahead for the best flavor and texture.
- No Ladyfingers? Use sponge cake or graham crackers as an alternative.
- Alcohol-Free Version: Simply omit the coffee liqueur.
