- 1 sheet pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or diced cooked sausage (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
- Flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or baking sheet.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough and cut into 2-inch squares.
- Press each dough square into the mini muffin tin cups or form into small circles on the baking sheet.
- Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each, then top with shredded cheese and your choice of toppings.
- Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder for extra flavor.
- Brush the edges with olive oil for a golden finish.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool slightly and serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
Notes
- Customize with vegetables, olives, or different meats and cheeses.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
- Freeze baked bites for up to 1 month and reheat directly from frozen.
