Description

These milky coconut biscuits are soft, chewy, and perfect for kids! Made with simple ingredients like coconut, condensed milk, and flour, they are easy to prepare and make a delightful treat for snack time or school lunches.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups (160 g) desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional garnish:

  • Sprinkles or chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Mix the ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, flour, and salt.
    • Add the melted butter, condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough comes together. If using sprinkles or chocolate chips, fold them in at this stage.
  • Shape the biscuits:
    • Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Flatten slightly with your hands or the back of a spoon. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool and serve:
    • Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Enjoy:
    • Serve plain or with a glass of milk. These biscuits are perfect for little hands!

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg into the dough.
  • Use unsweetened desiccated coconut for less sweetness.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
