- 1 cup shredded red cabbage (optional for color)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage (if using), carrots, and cilantro.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lime juice, vinegar, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
- Serve as a side dish or topping for tacos, burritos, or grilled meats.
Notes
- Add thinly sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
