- 100g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons malted milk powder (like Horlicks, optional for extra flavor)
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 300g (10 oz) cream cheese (softened)
- 250ml (1 cup) heavy cream (cold)
- 100g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons malted milk powder (like Horlicks or Ovaltine)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100g (3.5 oz) Maltesers (crushed, for texture)
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 150g (5 oz) milk chocolate (melted)
- 50ml (1/4 cup) heavy cream (warm, for smoothness)
- 100g (3.5 oz) whole Maltesers (for decoration)
Instructions
1. Make the Biscuit Base
- Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin.
- Mix with melted butter and malted milk powder, then press into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, malted milk powder, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then fold into the cheesecake mixture.
- Stir in crushed Maltesers for extra crunch.
- Spread the filling evenly over the chilled biscuit base.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to firm up.
3. Make the Chocolate Topping
- Melt milk chocolate and mix in warm heavy cream for a glossy topping.
- Pour over the cheesecake and spread evenly.
4. Decorate & Serve
- Arrange whole Maltesers on top.
- Chill for 30 minutes before slicing.
