- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 top-split hot dog buns
- 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat with melted butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chives (if using).
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently to combine.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and butter the outer sides of the buns.
- Toast the buns in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Fill each toasted bun with a generous portion of the lobster mixture.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra chives or lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use fresh or high-quality frozen lobster meat for the best flavor.
- For a lighter version, use less mayonnaise and more lemon juice.
- Chill the lobster mixture for 15 minutes before serving for a refreshing touch.
