Description

Loaded Nachos Supreme is a festive and satisfying appetizer or main dish piled high with crispy tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, beans, and a variety of fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole or diced avocado
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread out tortilla chips in an even layer.
  5. Spoon seasoned beef and black beans over the chips.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and top with tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro if using.
  9. Dollop with sour cream and guacamole just before serving.
