Loaded Nachos Supreme is a festive and satisfying appetizer or main dish piled high with crispy tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, beans, and a variety of fresh toppings.

- 1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole or diced avocado
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread out tortilla chips in an even layer.
- Spoon seasoned beef and black beans over the chips.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro if using.
- Dollop with sour cream and guacamole just before serving.
Notes
- Customize with cooked chicken, chorizo, or a vegetarian substitute like lentils or tofu.
- Use a mix of cheeses for more depth of flavor.
- Best served immediately to keep the chips crispy.
