Description

Loaded Baked Potato Pierogi are savory dumplings filled with creamy mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, and bacon, then pan-fried and topped with sour cream, green onions, and more cheese for the ultimate comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) frozen potato and cheese pierogi
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pierogi according to package directions—either boil or pan-fry until heated through and lightly golden.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add pierogi and cook for 3–5 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  3. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.
