Ingredients

  • 1 medium beet, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup water or coconut water

Instructions

  • Wash and prepare all the ingredients.
  • Add the beet, carrots, green apple, cucumber, spinach, ginger, lemon juice, and water to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • If desired, strain the juice using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for maximum freshness and nutrients.

Notes

  • For a sweeter juice, add 1-2 teaspoons of honey or a small orange.
  • If you prefer more fiber, skip straining the juice and drink it as a smoothie.
