Description

This Lipton Onion Soup Meatloaf is a classic, easy-to-make comfort food. Packed with savory onion flavor and a tender, juicy texture, it’s the perfect family-friendly dinner!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup milk or water
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix the Meatloaf Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, ketchup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
    • Mix until just combined (do not overmix).
  • Shape & Bake:

    • Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape into an even loaf.
    • Spread extra ketchup on top for a flavorful glaze.
    • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  • Rest & Serve:

    • Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
    • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a side salad!

Notes

  • Want extra moisture? Use 1 lb beef + 1 lb ground pork for a juicier meatloaf.
  • For a smoky twist, add 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or BBQ sauce instead of ketchup.
  • Make it low-carb by substituting almond flour for breadcrumbs.
