Description

A fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day treat, this Leprechaun Bark is a colorful mix of white and green chocolate, topped with sprinkles, candies, and a touch of gold! It’s easy to make and perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate or candy melts
  • 6 oz (170 g) green candy melts (or white chocolate + green food coloring)
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • 1/4 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows (or rainbow sprinkles) 🌈
  • 2 tablespoons gold or green sprinkles ✨
  • 1/4 cup green M&M’s or other festive candies

Instructions

1. Melt the Chocolate

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl:
    • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
    • If using, mix in ½ teaspoon coconut oil for a smoother texture.
  3. Repeat the same process for the green candy melts.

2. Create the Bark

  1. Pour the melted white chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread evenly (about ¼ inch thick).
  2. Drizzle the melted green chocolate over the white chocolate and use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors together.

3. Add the Magic!

  1. Sprinkle Lucky Charms marshmallows, M&M’s, and gold sprinkles over the chocolate while still melted.
  2. Lightly press the toppings so they stick as the chocolate sets.

4. Chill & Break

  1. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until fully hardened.
  2. Once set, break into irregular pieces and serve!

Notes

More crunch? Add crushed pretzels or chopped nuts.
Extra festive? Use edible gold dust or shimmer for a magical touch.
