Description

These King’s Hawaiian Cinnamon Rolls are soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet, made with King’s Hawaiian rolls, a buttery cinnamon-sugar filling, and a luscious cream cheese glaze. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cinnamon Rolls:

  • 1 (12-pack) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (kept together, don’t separate!)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp milk (adjust for desired consistency!)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Prepare the Cinnamon Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Stir until well combined into a thick, spreadable paste.

Step 3: Slice & Fill the Rolls

  1. Keeping the King’s Hawaiian rolls together, carefully slice them in half horizontally, like a sandwich.
  2. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Spread the cinnamon butter mixture evenly over the cut side of the bottom half.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on, pressing gently.

Step 4: Bake the Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for 5-7 more minutes, until golden and warm.

Step 5: Make the Cream Cheese Glaze

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then mix until combined.
  3. Stir in milk, 1 tbsp at a time, until you reach a drizzly consistency.

Step 6: Glaze & Serve

  1. Remove the rolls from the oven and spread or drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the top.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!
