Scale
- 2 shots (2 oz/60 ml) espresso or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
- 1–2 tablespoons caramel sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 cup (240 ml) ice
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Extra caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Prepare the espresso or coffee:
- Brew the espresso or make a strong cup of coffee. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Mix the caramel:
- In a tall glass, add the caramel sauce. Pour the warm espresso or coffee over it and stir until the caramel is fully dissolved.
- Add the milk and ice:
- Fill the glass with ice and slowly pour the milk over the top. Stir to combine.
- Garnish and serve:
- Top with whipped cream, if desired, and drizzle extra caramel sauce over the top. Serve with a straw or spoon for stirring.
Notes
- For a sweeter latte, add an extra tablespoon of caramel sauce or a teaspoon of sugar.
- Use cold brew coffee instead of espresso for a smoother flavor.
- Customize the milk to your preference: oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk all work well.
- To make it extra indulgent, use caramel-flavored syrup in addition to the caramel sauce.
