Description

This iced caramel latte is a refreshing and indulgent drink made with espresso, creamy milk, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up or a cozy coffee treat on a warm day, it’s easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 shots (2 oz/60 ml) espresso or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 12 tablespoons caramel sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Extra caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the espresso or coffee:
    • Brew the espresso or make a strong cup of coffee. Allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Mix the caramel:
    • In a tall glass, add the caramel sauce. Pour the warm espresso or coffee over it and stir until the caramel is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the milk and ice:
    • Fill the glass with ice and slowly pour the milk over the top. Stir to combine.
  4. Garnish and serve:
    • Top with whipped cream, if desired, and drizzle extra caramel sauce over the top. Serve with a straw or spoon for stirring.

Notes

  • For a sweeter latte, add an extra tablespoon of caramel sauce or a teaspoon of sugar.
  • Use cold brew coffee instead of espresso for a smoother flavor.
  • Customize the milk to your preference: oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk all work well.
  • To make it extra indulgent, use caramel-flavored syrup in addition to the caramel sauce.
