- 1 packet (1 oz/28 g) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 g) diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/4 cup (30 g) diced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the sausage:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
- Prepare the dip base:
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth and well combined.
- Combine the ingredients:
- Add the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and diced tomatoes (if using) to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Bake the dip:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish or a similar-sized ovenproof dish. Smooth the top and sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired.
