Description

This Honey Peach White Cheddar Grilled Cheese is a sweet and savory twist on the classic comfort food! Juicy peaches, rich white cheddar, and a drizzle of honey are layered between buttery, crispy bread for the ultimate gourmet grilled cheese. Perfect for summer lunches, brunch, or a quick dinner!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 slices sourdough or artisan bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 4 oz white cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
  • 1 ripe peach, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bread

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Drizzle honey on the unbuttered side of two slices.

Step 2: Assemble the Sandwiches

  1. Place a layer of white cheddar cheese on top of the honey-drizzled side.
  2. Add sliced peaches and sprinkle with fresh thyme (if using).
  3. Top with more cheese, then place the second slice of bread on top (buttered side facing out).

Step 3: Grill the Sandwiches

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.
  2. Cook sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  1. Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.
  2. Drizzle with extra honey, slice in half, and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Cheese Swap: Try Brie or Gouda for a different twist.
  • Extra Crunch: Add toasted walnuts or pecans inside the sandwich.
  • Make it Savory: Add crispy prosciutto or bacon for a salty balance.
  • Serving Idea: Pair with a side salad or a bowl of tomato soup.
