- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and lemon zest. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to glaze.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for a juicier alternative.
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
