Description

These Honey Garlic Pork Chops are juicy, flavorful, and coated in a sticky-sweet garlic sauce. Made in just 20 minutes, they’re the perfect weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for extra richness)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops – Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Sear the pork chops – Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Make the honey garlic sauce – In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Coat the pork chops – Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon sauce over them. Cook for 2-3 more minutes, until the sauce thickens and the pork reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  5. Finish & serve – Add butter for extra richness, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with rice or veggies!

Notes

  • Thicker Chops? If using thicker pork chops, increase cooking time by a few minutes.
  • Oven Option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, then broil for a caramelized finish.
  • Make It Spicy: Add ½ teaspoon sriracha or extra red pepper flakes.
