Description

Creamy, rich homemade white hot chocolate made with real white chocolate and steamed milk — a cozy winter treat ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup good quality white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • White chocolate shavings or sprinkles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine milk and heavy cream. Warm until steaming but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add white chocolate, whisking until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and creaminess.
  • Make it dairy-free by using almond or oat milk and coconut cream with dairy-free white chocolate.
  • Add a splash of peppermint extract for a festive twist.
