- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices and mix well.
- Store in an airtight container or spice jar for up to 6 months.
- Use about 2 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of meat or to taste.
Notes
- Adjust the heat by increasing or decreasing the red pepper flakes.
- Use smoked paprika for a smoky twist.
- This recipe makes approximately 1/4 cup of seasoning.
