- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar (optional, for tang)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
- Add dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice or vinegar if using.
- Whisk until well combined and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Notes
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.
- Add more buttermilk for a thinner, pourable dressing or less for a thicker dip consistency.
- Fresh herbs can be used in place of dried—use 3x the amount.
