- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for slight sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl or jar, combine vinegar, water, mustard, and honey (if using).
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Whisk or shake well to combine.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking constantly (or shake vigorously in a jar) until well emulsified.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
