- 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil or neutral oil (like canola)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise (if using), and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice until smooth.
- Add the Oil:
- While whisking continuously, slowly drizzle in the olive oil to create a creamy, emulsified dressing.
- Season:
- Add garlic powder (if desired), salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve:
- Transfer the dressing to a jar or bottle and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Notes
