- 4 cups water or low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Cook brown rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add spinach, carrots, zucchini, and peas to the pot. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Add cooked rice and water or broth to the mixture. Stir to combine well and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool completely before serving to your dog.
- Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
