Scale
- 1 cup Irish whiskey (such as Jameson)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 2 tsp instant coffee granules
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional, for a subtle nutty flavor)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the Irish whiskey, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, chocolate syrup, instant coffee granules, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
- Blend on low speed for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Do not over-blend, as this can cause the cream to curdle.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness or flavor as needed. For a stronger coffee flavor, add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee granules.
- Pour the mixture into a glass bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid. Seal and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
- Shake well before serving. Serve over ice, add to coffee, or use in your favorite holiday cocktails.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before each use, as the mixture may separate slightly over time.
- You can adjust the amount of Irish whiskey depending on how strong you want the flavor.
- To gift this homemade Baileys, pour it into small decorative bottles and label them with a festive ribbon!
