Description

Grilled Tilapia is a light and healthy dish featuring mild, flaky fish fillets seasoned with herbs and spices, then cooked to perfection on the grill. It’s quick, flavorful, and ideal for weeknight dinners or summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges and fresh parsley for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the tilapia fillets with the marinade.
  4. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Carefully remove from grill and serve hot with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of parsley.

Notes

  • Use a grill basket or foil for easier handling of delicate fish.
  • Tilapia can also be grilled on a stovetop grill pan if preferred.
  • Pair with rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
