- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, pepper, and salt.
- Place steak cubes in half the marinade and shrimp in the other half. Marinate both for 30 minutes (refrigerated).
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread steak, shrimp, and vegetables onto skewers, alternating items for even grilling.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill kabobs for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until steak is cooked to desired doneness and shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For even cooking, use separate skewers for shrimp and steak if preferred.
- Try adding zucchini, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes for variety.
- Serve with rice, couscous, or a fresh green salad.
