Description

Grilled King Salmon is a luxurious, tender fish cooked simply on the grill to highlight its rich, buttery flavor, perfect for a healthy and elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 King salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 204°C).
  2. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and drizzle with lemon juice.
  3. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper on both sides.
  4. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Place salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from grill, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a fish spatula to flip the salmon easily without breaking it apart.
  • For extra flavor, grill on a cedar plank soaked in water for at least 1 hour.
  • Do not overcook; King salmon is best when slightly pink in the center.
