Description

Grilled Garlic Bread is a smoky, crispy, and buttery side dish, featuring thick slices of bread brushed with garlic-infused butter and grilled to perfection for an irresistible addition to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375°F/190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Place bread, cut side down, directly on the grill grates.
  5. Grill for 2-4 minutes until the bread is toasted and has nice grill marks. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  6. Flip and grill for an additional 1-2 minutes if desired for extra crispiness.
  7. Remove from grill, sprinkle with Parmesan if using, slice, and serve warm.
