  • 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs (about 1 sleeve of chocolate wafers)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped heavy cream)

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Make the Chocolate Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Place the crust in the freezer to set while preparing the filling.

2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Filling:

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the peanut butter filling into the chilled crust, spreading it evenly. Place the pie in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.

3. Make the Chocolate Topping:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly, then pour over the peanut butter filling, spreading evenly to cover the entire top of the pie.

4. Chill and Serve:

  1. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 more hours, or until fully set.
