Description

This Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp is a quick, easy, and flavor-packed dish, featuring juicy shrimp tossed with garlic, butter, Parmesan cheese, and herbs, then roasted to perfection. Ready in just 15 minutes, it’s perfect as an appetizer, main dish, or topping for pasta and salads!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (16/20 count), peeled & deveined (tails on or off!)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (adds color and mild smokiness!)
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat!)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of dried basil, oregano, and thyme!)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (adds brightness!)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish!)

 



Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Season the Shrimp

  1. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Spread shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning evenly over the shrimp.

Step 3: Roast to Perfection

  1. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly curled.
  2. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness!

Step 4: Garnish & Serve

  1. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  2. Serve immediately with pasta, rice, crusty bread, or over a fresh salad.
