Description

Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a savory and satisfying dish made with tender chicken breasts coated in a rich blend of garlic and Parmesan cheese. It’s baked to golden perfection, creating a crispy crust while keeping the chicken juicy and flavorful. Ideal for a quick and tasty meal!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare Breading Mix: In a medium bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the melted butter, then press it into the Parmesan mixture, ensuring an even coating on all sides.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  • Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C) and the coating is golden brown.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For an extra-crispy coating, you can broil the chicken for 1-2 minutes at the end of the baking time.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple side salad.
  • You can substitute panko breadcrumbs with regular breadcrumbs if needed.
