Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups (150g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup (15g) chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup (60g) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the Chicken and Steak:

    • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
    • Add the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Set aside with the chicken.
  • Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
    • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Season with additional salt and black pepper, if needed.
  • Combine and Bake:

    • Place the browned chicken and steak in the prepared baking dish.
    • Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the meat, tossing to coat evenly.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve:

    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot with pasta, rice, or a side of roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Add veggies: Mix in cooked broccoli, mushrooms, or spinach before baking.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
